Peter Cottontail
Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hopping down the bunny trail
Hippity hoppity, Easter's on its way.
Bringing every girl and boy
Baskets full of Easter joy
Things to make your Easter bright and gay!
He's got jellybeans for Tommy
Colored eggs for sister Sue
There's an orchid for your mommy
And an Easter bonnet, too!
Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hopping down the bunny trail
Look at him, stop!
And listen to him say...
Try and do the things you should
Maybe if you're extra good,
He'll move lots of Easter eggs your way.
You'll wake up on Easter morning
And you'll know that he was there,
When you find those chocolate bunnies,
That he's hiding everywhere!
Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hopping down the bunny trail
Hippity, hoppity, happy Easter day!

Easter Bunny
Easter bunny soft and white
Hopping quickly out of sight.
Thank you for the eggs you bring
At Easter time to welcome spring.
Yellow eggs and blue and red
In the grass and flower bed
We will hunt them everywhere
Is it really you who put them there?

Bunnies at Easter
Bunnies at Easter
Wear bonnets and bows,
Bright colored ribbons
And maybe a rose.
Bunnies at Easter
Go hopping outside,
Swinging small baskets
With eggs tucked inside.
They borrow a rainbow
And carefully dip
Each one of their eggs
In its colorful tip.
Easter morning each child
Discovers a treat.
Oh, bunnies at Easter---
How thoughtful and sweet!

Coloring Easter Eggs
I take an egg
All shiny white
And then I dip
It out of sight.
I leave it there
Within the cup
Then after a minute
I pick it up.
And oh!
It's a lovely
Shade of green!
The prettiest Easter egg
I've ever seen.

He Hopped So Very Quietly
We didn't hear the Easter Bunny
Hopping down the hall ---
He hopped so very quietly,
He made no noise at all.
But on the breakfast table
He left bright Easter toys ---
Downy chicks for little girls
And rabbits for the boys.
Then we found bright Easter eggs
Tucked behind the chairs
Upon the windowsill and in
The corners of the stairs.
Easter Everywhere
Rabbits soft and cuddly
Baby chickens, too.
Easter eggs for baskets
White and pink and blue.
Easter cards of greeting,
Music in the air,
Lilies just to tell us
It's Easter everywhere.

Five Little Bunnies
One little bunny,
Wondering what to do,
Another bunny came along,
Then there were two.
Two little bunnies,
Hopping like me,
Another bunny came along,
Then there were three.
Three little bunnies,
Jumping by my door,
Another bunny joined them,
Then there were four.
Four little bunnies,
So fluffy and alive,
Another bunny joined them,
Then there were five.
Five little bunnies,
Ready for some fun,
Hopped away in the
Warm, spring sun.

Easter Fingerplay
Five little Easter eggs, lovely colors wore
Mother ate the blue one, then there were four.
Four little Easter eggs, two and two you see,
Daddy ate the red one, then there were three.
Three little Easter eggs, before I knew
Sister ate the yellow one, then there were two.
Two little Easter eggs, Oh what fun.
Brother ate the purple one, then there was one.
One little Easter egg, see me run.
I ate the last one, and then there were none.
