First graders love to read during Readers' Theater!
They are given a part in a story and as a group
they read their part from a script. This is sort of
like a play but the characters don't memorize their part.
I used the scripts within my Guided Reading Level groups,
so that students are successful in their reading.
Dramatic reading helps give students a "boost" with their fluency.
The kids have so much fun!!
