Stick-with-a-Heart Bouquet
You will need:
Construction paper
Craft stick
Ribbon
1. Cut four hearts—two pink
and two red—about 2 ½ inches
wide by 2 ½ inches high.
2. Cut two 1 inch hearts from
green paper. Cut a slightly smaller
heart from purple paper.
3. Arrange the four large hearts
to make a heart bouquet at one
end of the craft stick and glue in place.
Add the two green hearts to make
heart shaped leaves. Add
the small purple heart in the
middle of the craft stick.
4. Add a small ribbon bow.
Write a message on the center
large heart, if you wish.

Felt Heart Mouse
You will need:
Red felt
Small google eyes
Black yarn
Hot glue gun or tacky glue
1. Make a large heart out of felt.
2. Fold in half and lay a piece
of black yarn down the center of the heart
extending a small amount at the point
for the nose and out of the large part
of the heart to make a tail. Glue in place.
3. Make two small hearts of felt for ears.
4. Glue the two small hearts together on
either side of the large heart above the nose.
5. Glue on google eyes.
I have sometimes made these as gifts
for the students and I add a sucker
in the middle of the mouse.
